The Fruits of Repentance
For you
know that afterward, when he (Esau) wanted to inherit the blessing,
he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though
he sought it diligently with tears. Hebrews 12:17
The
third thing that will cause God to withhold His mercy is lack
of true repentance. The above verse says that you can actually
be unable to truly repent, and so be rejected by God. You might
even be crying a bucket of tears, yet there is no real repentance
involved.
The best way to understand what constitutes true repentance is
to look at the "fruits of repentance" that manifest
in the life of anyone who has truly turned away from sin.

On Whom
Shall God's Wrath Fall?
Six
months have passed since the terrorist attacks of September 11
took thousands of lives and forever changed how Americans view
the world, and our place in it. Ever since, many prophetic words
have come forth concerning what God is doing relative to the events
of that day, and even the subsequent "War on Terrorism".
I am still reading and hearing dire warnings about the need for
America to repent of the evils of pornography, abortion and general
unrighteousness before God truly pours out His wrath upon the
nation.

Person:Billy
Graham. Release of a tape recording in which he made some negative
remarks about Jews has caused criticism of his ministry. Let's
not dismiss what God has done with this evangelist because of
his human failings.
Country:Israel.
Violence is increasing at an alarming rate. Pray for the peace
of Jerusalem.
Ministry:
Operation Blessing. In the aftermath
of the the Taliban and the conflict that ousted them, life has
become even harder on the many widows and orphans struggling to
survive in Afghanistan. Operation Blessing is working to minister
to their many needs.
